1. Who we are

Social Sentry helps creators, and the managers who work with them, find brands to pitch. It is operated by Nicholas Marblestone (contact: nicholasmarblestone@gmail.com).

2. Information we collect

About you: the email address you sign in with, the settings you enter (sender name, signature, booking link, job title, LinkedIn link), the email addresses of teammates you invite, and the IP address of each signup attempt (to stop abuse).

About the creators you add: their public handles and what they post publicly: videos, captions, view, like and comment counts, and follower counts. We process the videos to find the brands that appear in them. We do not collect a creator’s private data.

About brand contacts: when you search for who to pitch at a brand, we look up people who work there in professional data sources and store their name, work email, job title and public LinkedIn profile, so we can show them to you again. See section 5.

Your connected inbox: if you connect your Gmail or Outlook, we send your pitches and follow-ups from it, read the replies to them, and copy your name and email signature from emails you sent yourself, so the emails we send look like yours.

Payments: Stripe processes payments. We store only the customer and subscription identifiers Stripe returns; card details stay with Stripe.

3. How we use it

To find brand opportunities in your creators’ videos, write pitch drafts and one-pager pages, find the right person to contact at a brand, send you account and product emails, keep the service secure, and bill you. We do not sell personal data.

4. Services we use

Data passes through these providers, each bound by its own privacy commitments: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database and storage), Inngest (background jobs), Apify (reading public social posts), AssemblyAI (transcription), Google Gemini (video frame analysis and web research about brands), Anthropic Claude (analysis and writing), Apollo and People Data Labs (brand contact discovery), NeverBounce (email verification), Resend (sending email), Unipile (sending from and reading your connected inbox), Cloudflare Turnstile (bot protection), Sentry (error monitoring) and Stripe (billing).

5. Brand contacts

The contact details we store about people who work at brands come from professional data sources and are used only to help our users pitch a partnership to that brand. If you are one of those people and want your details removed, email the contact above and we will delete the details we hold within 30 days.

6. Retention

Downloaded videos are deleted from storage once they are processed. Everything else (frames, transcripts, brand findings, drafts, settings) is kept while your account exists. To have your account data deleted, email the contact above; we delete it within 30 days of your request.

7. Free brand report and newsletter

If you request a free brand report, we store the email you give us so we can send it. If (and only if) you leave the newsletter box checked, we may also email you occasional product updates and brand tips; you can unsubscribe at any time and it never affects your report.

8. Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or its deletion at any time by emailing the contact above. We respond within 30 days.
